Marrying your best friend can be one of the greatest joys in life and there was so much joy shared and celebrated at Michael and Audrey’s wedding! The couple invited close friends and family to share in their intimate day with invitations courtesy of Folio Press & Paperie. The beautiful surrounding forest and woodland was the perfect backdrop for the summer camp-inspired wedding.

Audrey and friends enjoyed the mid-summer weather while getting ready out on the deck at their venue, Loloma Lodge. Photography by Photography by Lynn Marie captured every special moment as the bridal party did hair and makeup together. The bride opted for a subtle, fresh look and a flower-adorned romantic updo perfected with the help of her mother. The groom and his groomsmen got ready in the Carriage House and had a blast helping Michael put his finishing touches on before heading out to the couple’s first look. Audrey was a dream in a delicate long-sleeved gown from BHLDN and nude heels from Nae Vegan Shoes as she walked to greet her soon-to-be-husband looking equally dashing in a classic black 3-piece suit and bowtie from Generation Tux. The two shared such a touching moment seeing each other for the first time. After a few family photos, they were ready to walk down the aisle.

Underneath the forest trees and the beautiful arbor from Loloma Lodge, Michael waited for his bride. The florals, including Audrey’s gorgeous bouquet, were filled with eucalyptus and fern greens with citrus-colored poppies and anemones all thoughtfully crafted by Woodland Floral. There were big smiles and tears of happiness as the couple exchanged personal vows and shared their first kiss as husband and wife. The two looked blissful as they left the ceremony for the marriage license signing and a quick glass of champagne.

Heirlooms & Co. did an amazing job providing rentals that set the most magical woodland reception. Dark wood tables and stuffed armchairs looked amazing against the navy blue and saffron linens.  The couple made their grand entrance and best man Alex gave a welcome speech before kicking off dinner. The 100% vegan meal was prepared by The Vegan Caterer and was so delicious! Rose City Cocktails served up some botanical blends from the bar and the newlyweds and their guests shared a few toasts to celebrate their union. The amazing spread of vegan desserts was made by Cookie Conscious Bakery and the stunning two-tier cake was made by the bride’s own mother! DJ Mandy Mac kicked off the music for the evening and had guests up and dancing into the night. The videography team at A Beautiful Union captured every moment of the magical day and turned it into a touching memento the couple will get to cherish for years to come.

We felt so honored to have been a part of Audrey and Michael’s wedding as their planner and designer. Our Partial Planning Package allowed them to have a stress-free day where they really got to focus on what mattered: each other.

We loved working with Alisha! We used Indigo Bride’s partial planning services, which provided us with the perfect level of support throughout the year plus of planning. Alisha kept us on track as we developed our vision for the day, suggested some great vendors that we ended up hiring, and helped bridge the gaps when it came to communicating with and between vendors. She created a solid timeline that kept things moving smoothly on the wedding day, which allowed us to just go with the flow and enjoy each moment. The day was everything we hoped for and more! I would absolutely recommend working with The Indigo Bride.”
