Teal and Dave wanted a wedding that reflected their own unique love. And the family’s 100 year old private cabin set against the mountains and overlooking Elk Lake was the perfect place to celebrate their union! 

The couple started the day by getting ready with friends and family. The bride opted for an amazing marigold strapless jumpsuit with fun fringe details and the groom wore an embroidered shirt with a custom blue leather vest. Dave waited down on the dock to meet Teal for their first look and Collectively Captured caught their joy and love perfectly in every photo. After some photos with family, it was time to hide the couple away until the ceremony. Guests arrived and grabbed a drink from the bar, provided by Bowtie Catering, before stopping by the welcome table to take a quick pic to add to the guest book. Once everyone had arrived, it was time to begin the ceremony.

Two rows of picnic-style benches from Central Event Rentals led to a striking red rug that contrasted beautifully against the lake and mountains beyond. The design was simple, clean and allowed Teal and Dave to take center stage. Vows and rings were exchanged and the couple sealed the deal with a kiss!

Central Event Rentals provided speakers for music, lawn games, and plenty of seating and tables to kick off cocktail hour. Colorful striped linens from BBJ La Tavola through Curated Event Rentals added a fun pop of color to the setup. Guests enjoyed drinks and a few rounds of cornhole before the newlyweds grabbed a mic to thank everyone for coming and invite them to dinner. Bowtie Catering set up a beautiful buffet that guests were welcome to peruse at their leisure. A few family members took a moment to share their love and congratulations with the couple and then it was time for the dancing to begin.

Teal and Dave shared a fun and funky first dance that got everyone, including a dinosaur, excited to hit the dance floor! Romantic string lighting from Illuminate Your Night kept the party going as the sun went down. As the evening came to a close, The Bend Trolley arrived to take guests back into town.
