With fresh snow falling and gorgeous mountains in the distance, Kellie and Charlie couldn’t think of a more picturesque winter wedding backdrop in their favorite location, Sunriver, Oregon. Nestled along the Cascade mountains in Sunriver Resort, it was a snow-filled wonderland kind of day. The ceremony and reception took place in the Historic Great Hall which offered dramatic hand-peeled timber high-beam ceilings with rock fireplaces on each level. It was a truly magical setting for these two! 

On this beautiful morning, the ladies had their hair and makeup done as they shared laughs and excitement for Kellie’s big day. Kellie wore a classy, diamond headpiece in her hair and her makeup was done beautifully, thanks to Edge Hair & Makeup. Charlie and Kellie shared their first look outdoors under the snow fall. It was a sweet, magical moment captured so well by Victoria Carlson Photography. After the couple shared this special moment, we prepared the group for the “I do’s”. Although the couple’s original plan was to get married outside on the lawn, the ceremony was absolutely stunning inside the Great Hall and gave it that cozy, rustic vibe that they were looking for. It was so romantic! As Kellie walked down the aisle, she held a fabulous winter bouquet filled with white roses, blue thistle and ranunculus with ribbon tails of dusty blue and white silk. The men’s boutonnières had spray roses with brunia and thistle, which were held together with a silk wrap that complimented their gray suits perfectly. All of the amazing florals were done by Wild Poppy Florist.

Following the vows, guests enjoyed cocktail hour as the newlyweds signed their marriage license and shared a moment together. The reception was like a winter fairytale. The room was filled with candles in rustic lanterns and tons of seasonal greenery with a gorgeous fireplace in the background and lights all above. Each little touch was so intentional and we loved the mistletoe ball that hung from the ceiling. What a great way to spread the romance! Thanks to an amazing team of vendors such as Heirlooms and Co., the couple’s vision came to life. 

The celebration continued into the evening and guests had a blast on the dance floor. Flip Flop Sounds provided the entertainment and the couple had such a wonderful time with their friends and family. Mike Hiatt Media captured some intimate moments that we know the couple will just love looking back on one day. For dessert, Foxtail Bakeshop created a beautiful, white tiered cake for the couple that was surrounded by eucalyptus and pine. The evening ended with one heck of a bouquet toss and so much love in the air. 

Kellie and Charlie booked our Partial Planning Package and we’re so glad we were able to alleviate stress and help make their winter fairytale wedding come true!
