Katie and David were married on a warm, fall day in November of 2019 at Brasada Ranch. Their day started off with getting ready in the well-appointed luxury cabins on the property, with hair and makeup services provided by Mane and Co. PDX. Katie wore a Made with Love Bridal dress. It was a beautiful crocheted lace that delicately covered an ivory underlay, creating a gorgeous contrast. This stunning gown was purchased from a & be Bridal Shop in Portland. David wore a black tux from Generation Tux and had his suave beard manicured by the hair and makeup team.

Next up was their first look by the Ranch’s iconic Trestle Bridge. The fabulous photography was provided by Gallivan Photo. This intimate moment was so sweet and full of many laughs and a couple of tears. The wedding party joined for additional photos, along with a group beer “shot-gun” which was captured perfectly by the videographer, Mike Hiatt Media. The bridesmaids wore diverse dresses, featuring colors of mustard yellow, magenta, and black which was a perfect complement to the fall season and muted tones of the Central Oregon high desert. Their fun mix of dresses were purchased from Lulu’s, Anthropologie, and Revolve

As the guests arrived for the occasion, they were greeted by a hot chocolate bar and custom signage by Heirlooms & Co. The guest ceremony seating was a mix of wooden benches and garden chairs, yet the true centerpiece was a triangle dark wood arbor, adorned with garden roses, mums, dried globe thistles, various types of dried and fresh ferns, and pampas grass, all delicately placed by the florist, Hey You Flowers. The couple’s dog, Kevin, looked dapper in his sweater and made his way down the aisle with the Maid of Honor and Best Man. Not to forget, the absolutely adorable 3 flower girls with their dazzling little floral crowns. After a heartfelt ceremony, they smooched and that is when the celebration began!

The guests transitioned to cocktail hour and enjoyed tray-passed hor’s d’ oeuvres, along with a full bar. They also served Brasada Ranch’s signature collaboration beer with a local Bend brewer, Worthy Brewing to offer “Brasada Sunset Ale.” This was an ode to the couple’s love of craft beers, along with providing a monogrammed Silipint as their party favor.

After cocktail hour, the guests were invited to The Barn for reception and dancing. The reception tables were set with crisp ivory linen napkins, custom printed dinner menus, votive candles, dried ferns, and hydrangeas. They kicked off the reception with a romantic first dance to Old Dominion’s “One Man Band” and this provided all the feels for the attendees.  The guests were then served a family-style dinner featuring rack of lamb and pacific halibut. Following sentimental toasts from the bridal party, they cut their gorgeous 3 tiered cake, which was pumpkin and caramel flavor with house-made graham cracker crumbs – yum! From there, everyone boogied the rest of the night away with the DJ,  Bend Event Sound.

We adored working with Katie & David and providing our Day-Of Coordination package for their special day of celebration. Their day was full of love, laughter, and fun – we were so thrilled to be part of it!
