Christi and Nik’s wedding was such a blast to plan! The design was inspired by the bride’s childhood spent in Hawai’i. Bright, bold patterns and prints were tied together with elegant touches to create this magical tropical escape. It was so fun bringing a taste of the islands to Central Oregon!

The lovely couple began their special day getting ready in their suites at the gorgeous Tetherow resort. Nik looked dapper in a classic 3-piece navy blue suit and bowtie from Generation Tux while Christi stunned in an elegant gown from Jenny Yoo and Bagdley Mischka shoes. The bride’s classic low bun and glamorous makeup was beautifully done by Cassandra Kennedy Beauty. Friends and family helped the couple with their finishing touches and the two were ready for their first look. Carlos Hernandez Photography captured beautiful moments of the couple and their families and then it was time to take to the aisle.

The couple exchanged touching vows and heartfelt moments that were further made beautiful by the gorgeous floral arrangements and bouquets from Posie Shoppe. Huge fan palms, monsteras, and palmetto leaves set the stage while accents of delicate white orchids, coral sunset peonies, and garden roses added a soft, romantic feel to the arrangements. The couple said their “I Do’s” and shared a first kiss before leading the way to the reception.

The Kinky Brothers band kicked off a fun cocktail hour on the patio. Romantic bistro lighting and delicious passed appetizers from Tetherow set the stage for a great evening ahead and guests sipped local wines, beers, and signature cocktails while enjoying the plush lounge areas provided by Curated Event Rentals.

As guests filtered in for dinner, the Newberry-Zaal Ballroom was transformed into a gorgeous space with sea foam velvet linen-draped tables and orange accent napkins from BBJ La Tavola, a stage and dance floor from West Coast Event Productions, and an amazing tropical leaf accent wall was decorated by Posie Shoppe. The acrylic welcome sign, colorful menus, and seating chart were all beautifully crafted by JennyG Designs to match the design. The newlyweds had an epic grand entrance into the ballroom followed by an incredible champagne tower toast before sitting down to a delicious plated dinner served by Tetherow.

After dinner, the maid of honor and best man gave touching toasts and then it was time for dessert! Campbell Cakes provided the stunning, coral marbled two-tier cutting cake and a sheet cake from Market of Choice meant plenty of cake to go around. A fun, old-school photo booth from Stumptown Booth kept guests entertained while the couple snuck off for sunset photos and a private first dance before rejoining their friends and family to celebrate into the night.

Christi and Nik were so amazing to work with!  We loved providing our Partial Planning package and using our creative juices to plan their elevated, tropical celebration. We wish them all the love and happiness in their journey together. Aloha!
