Summer and Sam were married on a marvelous fall day in October 2020. House on Metolius, located in Camp Sherman, provided the perfect location for their friends and family to gather for a weekend of celebrating. With the almost unreal mountain views, crystal clear river and forest setting – it was a true magical escape for Summer and Sam to make it official.  

Hair and makeup by the fabulous Cassidy Elise kicked off the day for Summer and her maids in one of the cozy cabins on property. Summer looked absolutely gorgeous in her boho, dahlia-inspired embroidered dress by Willoughby by Watters and fun white booties by Steve Madden. Her lovely gown was purchased at Bespoke Bride located in Bend. Summer’s elegant bridesmaids wore charcoal Vera Wang dresses from David’s Bridal. Sam and his groomsmen looked handsome, rocking The Black Tux black suits with grey floral print ties and gold cufflinks. Next up was their heart warming first look outside of their vintage cabin. Tony Gambino captured this moment wonderfully and provided his spectacular, moody photography throughout the day. 

Meanwhile, the unbelievable vendor team was hard at work setting up the well appointed layout for the occasion. Starting with a hand-crafted wooden arbor, perfectly placed by Aspen and Pine Design Co. at the ceremony site, which was then adorned with dahlias, black eyed susans, nagi, golden amaranthus, maple and additional fall foliage by the fabulous Summer Robbins Flowers. The reception area was set next to the main house, with a white pole tent from Central Oregon Tent Rentals. Inside was set with bistro lighting by Illuminate Your Night and more suspended greenery. The mismatched wooden chairs, farm tables, colorful pressed goblets, and blush copper flatware provided by Curated Event Rentals finished off the unique look. 

As guests arrived, they were greeted by the graceful music of the Dove String Quartet and sipped on champagne before they were invited down to the lawn area for the ceremony. Weddings with Heart provided the officiant services. After sentimental vows, Summer and Sam smooched and made it official! 

Guests were invited to cocktail hour, where they enjoyed delicious signature cocktails created by Emerald City Cocktails and dined on yummy appetizers by Back to the Tables. The children (and some adults) in attendance took advantage of the awesome bounce houses set up by Bouncing Off The Wall. While others decided to lay back in the cozy lounge area, with velvet pillows and fuzzy throw blankets. 

After more photos, Summer and Sam were announced into the reception and had each guest take a shot of tequila with them as they thanked them all for coming. This really kicked off the party! Everyone moved into the magical tent setting for a buffet dinner and toasts. Flip Flop Sounds provided the sound and music through the celebration. From there, guests enjoyed a delightful gluten free cake from Ida’s Cupcake Cafe and donuts from Richard’s Donuts! The rest of the night was spent getting down with the live band John Dough Boys, sipping on cocktails and making s’mores at the fire pit. 

We adored working with Summer and Sam and providing our Day-Of Coordination Package. With all the vendors and moving parts, we were so thrilled to coordinate it all. In turn, producing a successful weekend of celebrating for this exceptional couple!
