Kathryn and Ryan were married on a beautiful summer day in June of 2019 in Central Oregon. House on Metolius, located in Camp Sherman, features stunning views of the Cascade Mountain Range. This location provided a perfect spot for all their friends and family to celebrate throughout the weekend.
Kathryn and her maids started off the day with makeup by Gold and Arrow Salon at the main house. The bridesmaids were dressed in mixed designs of different shades of pink and purple dresses. Kathryn wore a bohemian, lace crochet dress along with a dried globe thistle hairpiece. She went barefoot for the wedding ceremony, yet sported her personalized hot pink, sparkly Vans for the rest of the reception. Ryan and his groomsmen wore tan suits with lavender pocket-squares. Their lovely velvet ring box was created by The Mrs. Box.
As the guests arrived for the ceremony, they took in a stunning view of the crystal blue Metolius river and snowy mountain peaks in the distance. The site featured white garden chairs, bright boho rugs, as well as floral arrangements featuring proteas, garden roses, and pampas grass by Bend Floral Artistry. The couple’s adorable English bulldog, Mochi, was beyond cute with her pink tutu and amaranth floral collar. After many laughs, a few tears, and beautifully written vows, Kathryn and Ryan smooched and made it official! Max Grudzinski Photography captured the day flawlessly and provided photography throughout the entire weekend.
The guests were invited to cocktail hour to enjoy delicious drinks and yummy appetizers by Bowtie Catering. The space was set up with a cozy lounge by Curated Event Rentals and decorated with a funky balloon installation and a neon “Lovestruck” sign by The Indigo Bride. During this time, the bridesmaids snuck away to capture photos in their stylish denim jackets personalized by Bash Calligraphy.
From there, the guests were served an al fresco family-style dinner. The reception set up featured wooden cross back chairs from Heirlooms & Co., dazzling gold flatware, velvet napkins from BBJ Linen, colored pressed glassware, along with flowy table runners from La Tavola Fine Linen. The tables were named after different fishing flies, since Ryan’s favorite recreational activity is fly fishing. The tabletop terrariums contained those fly patterns, along with a variety of crystals, which is one of Kathryn’s favorite things! After dinner and sentimental toasts, they cut their adorable wedding cake by Too Sweet Cakes, that featured a custom cake topper of their family, all three doggos, and of course, Ryan fly fishing. The guests were invited to indulge in their assorted candy, donuts, and dessert bar and then danced the night away with DJ services by Flip Flop Sounds. Their heartwarming wedding video was captured and created by Bird House Wedding Films.
Kathryn and Ryan stated that they absolutely loved their day because they were surrounded by the people that they love most in the world. We enjoyed providing our Partial Planning package for their special day and adored all the added touches to personalize their celebrations of love even more.
