Jill and Kevin said their “I do’s” at their family’s home in Bend, Oregon. It was an intimate backyard ceremony and reception. The celebration was thoughtfully planned and turned out so gorgeous, with plenty of bright summery details. Their wedding’s focus was on the importance of family. It was the blending of two families who had each been through so much, finally coming together after years of being apart. Their unique story gave their wedding so much meaning, it was a very special occasion to witness. 

The backyard was transformed with the help of an amazing team of vendors. The main statement piece was the stunning white draped tent from Incredible Events, complete with bistro lights so the celebration could carry on after dark, thanks to Illuminate Your Night. White umbrellas provided by Central Event Rentals gave guests extra shade during the warmest hours of the day. 

The color palette was a timeless elegant pairing of light blush tones, with gold accents and a dark contrast of navy blue. Rentals from Heirlooms and Co. included the beautiful custom navy bar, Chiavari Chairs, gold flatware, indigo goblets and large glass hurricanes with tapered candles. Bend Bouquets adorned almost every inch of the backyard with breathtaking arrangements featuring peonies, ranunculus, garden roses, and hydrangeas all varying in blush pinks and whites. The arbor from Events By Design was draped with white chiffon and completely covered with roses and white larkspur. 

Everything was perfectly in place and the wedding of Jill and Kevin’s dreams began. Dove String Quartet started playing while the guests took to their seats. Jill looked absolutely stunning in her elegant silk wedding gown. Kevin had the biggest smile as his beautiful bride walked towards him. Kevin’s daughter, who stood by his side, shed tears of joy for her father and Jill. It was a heart warming ceremony, with the Cascade Mountains peeking through the rose filled arbor. 

After the nuptials, the ceremony space was fully reset for the reception. Guests enjoyed cocktails and appetizers provided by Bleu Bite Catering, with a delicious buffet dinner to follow. The evening continued with dancing to music provided by DJ Sugar PDX . Family and friends surprised the bride and groom with a flash dance, which was such a fun moment!

All the guests had so much fun partaking in photos with Dashoots Photobooth on the deck. The dessert table was filled with various macarons and sweets, along with a delectable three tiered wedding cake from Too Sweet Cakes. Benjamin Edwards Photography captured all of the amazing details and love throughout the entire day. It was truly a beautiful family event that we were so thankful to be a part of.
