The first ever Central Oregon Wedding Association styled shoot was held in March of 2021. After 2020, we were all ready to come together and collaborate to produce a beautiful space to celebrate love and joy. This shoot was extra special as we were able to design, plan and style the reception space with the help of some of our most beloved Central Oregon vendors.

For the design, we were inspired to create something modern, unique and to use a non-common wedding color, black! We set the stage with some round jute rugs, a lovely high desert wooden table, and black bentwood chairs from Curated Events. We installed a lovely, whimsical display of balloons to contrast with the wood and black, this made the white balloons really pop!

The table’s centerpiece was set with blush pink garden roses, white orchids and more lovely blooms from the fabulous Posie Shoppe. The custom hand-calligraphy on the acrylic black place cards and table numbers by Jenny G Designs gave the table a modern twist. We finished off the whole look with black slate chargers, a variety of tapered candles, and Himalyan salt votives.

The wooden dance floor and overhead bistro lighting by O’Brien Events set the tone for a romantic dinner and dancing vibe in the grandiose pavilion at Tetherow Resort. We added more loose balloons to make the whole space feel more playful and fun! The cutest addition was the mobile bar, The Bevy PNW. This adorable rig is a piaggio ape (pronounced ah-pay) imported from Italy. We adorned this cutie with more balloons, florals and custom signage, awww so darling!
