Boho Wedding With Copper Accents
Broken Top | Bend, OR | September 29th, 2018
Makayla and Ben were married in late September at Broken Top Club in Bend, Oregon. The day started with Makayla getting ready with her bridal party at the club. Kate Tuma provided hair and makeup. After putting on her gorgeous bridal gown, Makayla shared a first look with her father. Ben spent the morning with his groomsmen, looking sharp in their blue suits and floral ties.
Ben and Makayla then headed out to the high desert of Central Oregon to have their first look. The Posie Shoppe created Makayla’s fall bouquet, compete with pampas grass, blush florals, and deep red accents. Makayla and Ben’s wedding photos were taken by Rosemary and Pine Photography. Videography was provided by Creative Owl Productions. They followed their wedding portraits with bridal party and family photos. The matching boutonnieres and copper hoop bouquets were also designed by The Posie Shoppe.
The adventure continued with the ceremony on the outdoor patio at Broken Top Club. The guests were met with copper welcome signs, boho rugs, modern lanterns, and a show stopping copper circle arch adorned with floral arrangements created by The Posie Shoppe. After the ceremony and first kiss, Makayla and Ben signed their marriage license. A relaxed cocktail hour was held on Broken Top Club’s outdoor balcony.
Makayla and Ben’s reception was held inside of Broken Top Club, complete with long tables lined with greenery garlands, copper terrarium accents, and grey linens. Copper chargers and agate slice name cards greeted the guests. A large marquee “LOVE” sign adorned the couple’s sweetheart table. As reception began, the party enjoyed loving toasts. Then came the cake cutting, where Makayla and Ben got the first taste of their unique donut cake.
The party continued outside on Broken Top Club’s back outdoor patio, complete with a romantic lounge seating area. Makayla and Ben enjoyed their first dance, bouquet toss, and a tasty s’mores bar. Flip Flop Sounds DJed the event. To end the night, Makayla and Ben enjoyed a glow stick exit with their guests, followed by a ride in a classic car.
Makayla and Ben purchased our decor setup package. We setup and styled all of the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception decor.
“The Indigo Bride was incredible to work with! We hired Bree and Marian to do decor setup for our wedding. The communication leading up to the wedding was mostly emails, Pinterest board sharing, and phone conferences, with a meeting at our wedding venue about a month before the wedding. They truly were able to take our vision – and Pinterest board – and give them life! Whenever we had a question about a certain design aspect, they came in with great suggestions to help. I love doing design and decor, so giving this up was hard for me to do, but these ladies made it so easy, and they did an amazing job. I definitely recommend them for your big event!”
