Josephine and Brendan were married in August of 2019. It was a splendid summer day; Abigail’s Garden at Abernethy Center provided a gorgeous, fully outdoor ceremony and reception venue for the day of celebration with their closest family and friends. 

The wedding day began with hair and makeup by Blossom and Beauty in a luxurious suite on the property. The bridal party spent the morning in cozy slippers, silk robes, and cheering with bubbles! The groom and groomsmen also had a private suite in which they prepared for the big day. Josephine wore a Lillian West sleeved, boho, maxi dress with a stunning dried floral hairpiece by Wild Flower Portland. Brendan looked suave, sporting a sharp, black tux and cufflinks. 

Their ceremony site included a stunning gazebo accented by a giant draping willow tree, white garden chairs and dazzling, dried floral arrangements lining the aisle. The heartfelt ceremony included many tears, lots of love, and beautifully handwritten vows. The Soft Season captured the photography flawlessly throughout the day. 

Just up the path from the ceremony site, a large white tent welcomed the guests for the reception. The dining tables were set with blush pink floor-length linens, crisp white napkins, as well as floral arrangements of dahlias and garden roses. Noteworthy DJ’s provided the music services for the reception. Guests were also greeted by a white balloon wall backdrop by The Indigo Bride for the evening’s photo booth. 

Prior to the buffet dinner, the entire bridal party performed a grand entrance. This included a fabulous dress-change for Josephine into a Lulu’s white, sleeveless, scalloped lace dress which was perfect for dancing the night away! Candy Glass Productions provided videography services throughout the celebration. After sentimental toasts by the wedding party, Josephine and Brendan cut their gorgeous, 3-tiered naked cake that was decorated with fresh figs, blackberries, grapes, and gold flakes. This delicious confection, along with a macaron display was provided by Farina Bakery. The party continued with dancing under the tent’s lovely bistro lighting, as well as a never to be forgotten bouquet toss! 

Josephine and Brandon selected our Day-of coordination package to ensure each and every detail was taken care of and executed perfectly, so they were able to enjoy these cherished moments with their families and friends.
