Central Oregon provides us the most beautiful fall weather and Sarah and Greg couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day to say “I do”. They had their ceremony in Bend’s backyard at Sparks Lake and then continued their party at their family’s backyard in Sunriver.

The day began with Sarah and her bridesmaids getting their hair and makeup done in the house where the reception took place. Alicia Thompson provided hair styling and makeup application. Sarah looked stunning in her princess-like gown that had a beautiful open back. Greg looked dashing in his classic, gray tuxedo that was complemented by his burnt orange tie. 

The couple were captured perfectly in front of the mountainous silhouette by photographer Katy Weaver Photography. Sarah carried a stunning bouquet of burgundy dahlias, silvery-blue globe thistle, deep orange ranunculus and fall toned foliage with creamy garden roses by Acorn & The Oak. We loved the in-season and assorted fall color palette! It was a special walk down the aisle for Sarah, as the couple’s song, ‘I Choose You’ was sung by Greg’s aunt. The Bride’s sister, Kari, provided the officiant services for the ceremony. After many laughs, tears, and heartfelt vows, they kissed and made it official! 

From there, guests headed to their gorgeous family home in Sunriver for a lovely reception. Thanks to a fantastic team of vendors the backyard was transformed into an intimate, classy outdoor celebration. Heirlooms & Co. provided beautiful rustic wooden tables that surrounded the dance floor that was provided by Bend Party Rentals. The tables were designed by Acorn & The Oak with flowing, garden style arrangements and yellow taper candles on gold candlesticks which provided a beautiful glow. 

Dinner was fun, simple and delicious. Guests enjoyed yummy tacos and margaritas made by one of our favorites, El Sancho. Dancing went on far into the night and the sweet couple laughed with their friends and family under the romantic zig zag lighting that Illuminate Your Night installed. For dessert, the couple had a delectable display of mini cupcakes from Too Sweet Cakes and a cutting cake that was drizzled with caramel and topped with a few bright florals.
